Nedumangad Taluk’s headquarter is Nedumangad and its includes townships like Anad, Vithura, Aruvikkara, Venpayam, Arynadu, Veeranakavu, Kallara, Uzhamalakal, Karakulam, Vellanad, Karippur, Thekkada, Koliyakode, Pullampara, Kurappuzha, Vamanapuram, Manickal, Vattapara, Mannoorkkara, Pangode, Nedumangad, Thennoor, Nellanadu, Perumkulam, Palode, Tholikode, Peringammala and Panavoor.

Chirayinkeezhu Taluk’s Headquarter is Attingal and it includes places like Alemcode, Vettor- Cherunniyoor, Vellalloor, Pulimath, Attingal Avanavacherry, Elambamudackal, Ayroor, Nagaroor, Pallickal, Azhoor, Kadakkavoor, Pazhayakunnemmel, Keezhattingal, Chemmaruthy, Navayikulam, Ottoor, Vakkom, Chirayinkeezhu, Edakode, Varkala, Edava, Kilimannoor, Kduvazhannoor, Madavoor, Kadavoor, Sharkara, Karavaram, Sharkara and Keezhvalam Kunthaloor.

Geographical Nature
At the eastern frontier of Kerala stands the most amazing, the most enchanting lovely Sahya mountains. Agasthamala commonly known as Agasthya mountains stands at 6132 ft height which is one of the heighest mountains in the area and across Kerala. One the western frontier stands grand Arabian Sea and nearby district has a stretch of around 78 Km long beach. The waves at these beaches are simply inviting and lovely to enjoy. Thiruvananthapuram boosts of wonderful rivers like Neyyar, Vamanapuram and Karamana, it has a total forest land area of 49, 861 Hectres. The main tourists centers here are Varkala, Neyyar Dam, Kovalm and Trivandrum City, these places has some of the best remarkable and wonderful monuments and great culture to boost for.

Airport
The International Airport of Thiruvananthapuram is located at Valiathura. The airport has got all major important amenities required at any other International airport, thus the airport could be easily compared to major International airports of South region. All the facilities are available as per Industrial standards or as per ICAO guidelines. For last one year, the AAI (Airport Authority of India) extended 24 hours facility on demand by airlines which occurred huge expenses. The flights from this airport are mostly full because of increased facilities and 24 hours run services. There are major flights available to important tourists’ destinations of world like Arabian Gulf, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Singapore. The world famous Central Tuber Crops Research Institute is located at Sreekaryam, people come here to study from all parts of the world.

Karyavattom is the Headquarters of the great Kerala University, this is the place from where major University departments function. Thiruvananthapuram has also wonderful and beautiful Museums, Art Gallery and Zoo. There is a collection of Museums and a Zoo in the Park situated at the North of Thiruvananthapuram city, the place boosts of sarcenic buildings of 1880s, although decaying but quite attractive. The Napier Museum has a wonderful amazing collection of historical and contemporary ornaments, collections of Bronzo, ivory carvings, temple carts and various life size figures of Kathakali dances. The great and famous observatory here was founded by Swathi Thirunal Maharaja. The people wanting to take long distance railway travel can go to Thampanoor which has a good transport services.
The magnificent Sri Chithra Art Gallery has famous paintings of world famous artists, it also houses the modern Indian collection of Ravi Varma.
Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple built by Maharajah of Travancore in the year 1773 is the famous temple of Lord Vishnu.
The state also has famous stadiums like University Stadium, Central Stadium and

Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium.
There is the famous secretariat statue standing at The Centre of Kerala Government Administration and the new Legislative Assembly hall both of which are located between Palayam and the PMG junction.

Thumba Equatorial Launching Station is located at a distance of 16 Km from Thiruvananthapuram and it is one of the first Indian Space Research Organisation which was established on 15th of August, 1969.
Trivandrum Doordarsan was established in November, 1982, today it is one of the High Power Transmitter situated in the place called as Kudappanakunnu.
Trivandrum Public Library was established in the year 1829. The Travancore University took over the administration in the year 1938, in the year 1949 it was under Government control. The famous British and University Library are located at Thiruvananthapuram.
Trivandrum Radio Station’s administration was taken over by All India Radio in the year 1951, April.
