Kozhikode has an amazing 71 Km Seashore line. The place is wonderful for holiday makers. It stands at North-east side, the area around is covered with lush green forests. The stop is an important destination because it has got some of the well preserved hilly regions; the main hills of the area are Embilasserry, Mottila and Nattuvaram. The well known rivers of Kozhikode are Kuttiyadi, Mayyazhi, Kadalundi, Korapuzha, Chaliyar and Kallai, these rives are ancient and have been flowing since ages. Kozhikode has got an awesome view of its dense forest, the total area of forest stands at 41,386 Hectares.

Kozhikode is a historic place with a good stock in their Art Gallery. The best famous Krishnamenon museum which is at a close proximity of Pazhassirahaj Museum has the best art works of artists like Ravi varma and Raja varma. The private property which was owned by Late former Union Defence Minister V.K.Krishnamenon is also exhibited here.
Kallai
Kallai is situated at a distance of 2 Km from the district Kozhikode. Kallai is famous for its timber and it is one of the World's second timber trading centres across the globe.

Kappad
Kappad has the old Port to its credit where Vasco da Gama landed here for the first time on 17th May in the year 1548 along with approximate 170 men occupying 3 Vessels. Kappad is located at a distance of 16 Km from Kozhikode.
Pazhassirajah Museum
The Museum is located at a distance of 5 Km from Kozhikode, the place where museum is located is on the east hill. The administration of the museum is in the hands of the Archeological department of the State.
Peruvannamuzhi
Peruvannamuzhi has a Crocodile Sanctuary; tourists from all parts of India and world come to visit this place. It is favorite amongst locales that throng this place during holidays and other days of the week.
