Kasargode district has a wonderful shoreline of around 77 Km. Kasargode has various rivers in its area, they are Manjeswaram, shirya, Uppalam, bakkel-kavindukka, palai-cheemani, Kumbalam-Edanadu, nileswaram-kinannur-kayamkode, chithari-karadya, Kulanad-chattomchal and Mogral-Kulathur. The rivers here have an amazing scenic beauty; the total forest land of Kasargode stands at 5625 Hectares.

Bekal 
Bekal in Kasargode is located at far north side of the state. Just 14 km away from kasargode there is an awesome long palm beaches, the place is simply heaven, and it has beautiful scenic outview. There is an ancient huge fort at the rockey headland, the fort was built in the year 1645 and completed in the year 1660. The fort has historic importance so it’s been preserved by government authorities as a tourist destination spot.
Bekal is the far north of the State. 14 Km away fromKasergod has long palm fringed beaches and rockey headland topped by a huge Fort built between 1645 and 1660. This Fort preserves with more care.
