Keraleeya Ayurveda Samajam has a prominent position as a preeminent location for Ayurvedic treatment. Keraleeya Ayurveda Samajam concentrates on treatment only. They give great emphasis to traditional methods of Ayurvedic treatment, which so far is proved to be most effective. Preparation of medicines by the Samajam too follows centuries old tradition – they use earthen vessels and firewood for preparing medicines.

The institution has a century old tradition. Vaidyaratnam P S Warrier started the institute in 1902. The original aim of the institute was to restore the past glory of Ayurveda and to provide free treatment for the poor. The panel is successful in developing medicines for infertility, diabetes and other ailments and conditions.
